Terms, in plain words

Last updated 2026-11-07. By using Outline.co you agree to the following.

The service

Outline.co is free to use. It is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of mistakes, and it may change — features can be added, changed or taken away.

Your work is yours

What you write stays yours. You let Outline.co store it and show it to you and to the people you share it with — nothing more.

Use it fairly

• Do not use it for anything unlawful, to harm others, or to send spam.
• Do not try to reach other people’s work, or to break or overload the service.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.

An account that breaks these terms may be suspended or closed.

Leaving
